Personal Growth is all about not standing still but growing and being all you can be. But it’s easy to get “lost” in our fast-paced world and the stress of just making it through each day, and the demands of others.
Self-improvement starts with a desire and belief you deserve everything in life you can get. It then requires commitment and focus to stay the course to achieve your goals. Yes, you are worth it! The journey is lifelong, but it should be rewarding and fun.
Personal growth means dedication to your goals and willingness to persevere through barriers and hardships, and the selection of materials you’ll find here cover insights into mental toughness and resilience, confidence and self-esteem, self-improvement, managing stress, accepting the power of your mind and much more.

When discussing success and achievement, often time you’ll hear words like resilience and perseverance used to describe qualities associated with, or necessary for, one to be successful in attaining goals. These may be business or life goals or both. In recent articles I’ve covered Goals and Getting Your Life Priorities Straight and the Importance of Resilience in Overcoming Life Challenges but today I wanted to discuss with you the need for Perseverance in the overall life equation for success, and especially how it relates to its twin sister of Resilience. Now people may get the terms resilience and perseverance confused as they’re usually paired together when discussing the ingredients for successful living especially for entrepreneurs. Even though they’re needed in the equation for success, they’re different, but go hand in hand. Most recently, the term Grit has entered the vocabulary. Read more here…Read More
Have you heard of an unique psychological concept referred to as ‘The Impostor Syndrome?’ It’s a concept that came out in the latter part of the last century which describes people who struggle with an inability to internalize their achievements and accomplishments because they possess a persistent concern of being exposed as a fraud. The interesting part of this phenomenon is these individuals are actually competent, or have received the adequate training in their specific area of expertise. Interestingly, even though they’ve the education, training and knowledge (they’re aware of it and others can reaffirm it), they still believe they’re actual frauds. Any success that comes their way they either thwart it, or choose to deflect it. Learn ways to overcome it here…Read More
Have you ever heard of the term ‘Personal Development?’ Perhaps you view it as some cliché term or business concept. People have their own measurement and therefore calibration of resilience. One person’s ceiling is another one’s floor. The fact is it’s a fragile thought this “resilience” thing. I can’t go into a pharmacy and pick up a bottle of resilience pills. It can’t be measured other than as an arbitrary interpretation of our own standards. Is it something you’re born with, or is it shaped by your parents and/or environment? Can you manufacture it at the gym or Yoga studio? Maybe a more important question for some of us should be “Can you lose it?” Find out here…Read More

We all have unrealized dreams. Maybe we’ve had them since childhood or they’ve grown on us since adulthood, or we were touched by somebody we wanted to emanate. It can be a career or wealth, or a role we want to play in our community. It doesn’t matter because the effect is the same… a gap. We each have a large potential. It could be physical – such as the athletic kind – or it could be some other level of success such as being an entrepreneur, or being a loving spouse and parent. You’re on the path heading in the right direction but you just can’t seem to bridge… the gap to your potential. We know what we want to become, and see other’s achieving it but we can’t seem to figure out how to bridge the gap for ourselves. We’re left on the wrong side of the gap. We mostly know what we need to do but can’t seem to consistently follow through and take action, or when we do it just doesn’t move us forward. We continually flounder on the wrong side of our potential.Read More

They want to be their ideal self, but just cannot figure out how to! Here’s some help…Read More
