How to Become a Sales Superstar

Do you work in sales and want to be a superstar in your field?

First off there are probably thousands and thousands of people who work in sales, and it is no secret that being in sales is a highly competitive business.

Furthermore, when you look at people who work in sales, they are doing so for two reasons, one is to make enough money to get by each week and try to live comfortably, or two they want to make Donald Trump millions so they can be the best in their field for the love of money and success!

Where do you see yourself fitting in?

Success is a mindset! You can learn how to sell by taking courses or being mentored by people who are already very successful in sales.

Even though you may have the best training, you may not be the best salesperson, or truly reach you high ceiling potential for attracting a lot of money your way through sales. Sales is all about a belief system, namely a belief in yourself that you can sell anything to anyone on any given day.

This is all based on self-esteem and self-confidence.

Neither of these can be taught to you, rather you have to develop these on your own and once again, it is a mindset!

How to you create and/or get this positive mindset?

For starters, confidence, self-esteem and belief in yourself is an inside job. It all starts with you believing that all things are possible and not getting caught up in appearances and circumstances outside of you.

Too many people worry about and focus on what is going on around them instead of what is going on inside of them, namely their thoughts.

They might see other people unable to move or sell things and internalize this by telling themselves, “Gee so and so are great in sales, and if they can’t sell, there is no way that I am ever going to sell!

This is definitely not the mindset of a sales superstar.

Instead, the thought process should be, “Just because so and so can’t sell doesn’t mean things can’t be sold, and I am going to be the one to make these sales!” Successful sales mindsets are all about having the right attitudes. These attitudes are conscious decisions and can be made by deciding you are a good salesperson, better than the rest. That is confidence, not delusional thinking or arrogance.

Hypnosis and meditation are the most effective aids for helping master the power of thought. They say that where thoughts go, energy flows.

This means that if you have positive thoughts and expectations you will create positive energy and this will draw positive outcomes back to you. Hypnosis and meditation can seed the mind with positive thoughts, visualizations and expectations whereby you see yourself being and succeeding as the sales superstar that you want to be.

Most of what sales people operate on are scripts for what to say about a product or service.
