For those history buffs reading this, Westborough was once part of Marlborough but in 1717 the “West Borough” of Marlborough became incorporated independently.
Water is prominent in the town offering many recreational opportunities and there are also plenty of walking trails – all good for the soul and health. In addition to the Assabet and Sudbury Rivers, there is Lake Chauncey and Mill Pond, and the Westborough Reservoir where my sons would go fishing when we lived in Upton. The reservoir area also contains conservation lands and trails.
The picture above was taken by me on one of our fishing expeditions in Westborough Minuteman Park. Bodies of water figure prominently as visualization places during hypnosis sessions with my clients, and when standing on the shore of this reservoir you can understand why.
I see an ongoing stream of people from the Westborough region looking for hypnosis services.

"I am doing very well. Rarely think about it. Very few and minimal cravings. I am very proud to talk about not smoking with my friends. It’s also an awesome feeling to see my children, my boyfriend, and my friends smile and say how proud they are of me for not smoking. Thank you so much for sitting with me. It is the best thing I could ever do for ME!!!"
HYPNOSIS PROGRAMS FOR WESTBOROUGH:
All my hypnotherapy services are provided in my North Grafton office. Directions to my office from Westborough can be found at end of this page. Route 30 from the town center rotary is the most picturesque route through the Tuft’s Veterinary Campus’s straight into North Grafton and my 80 Worcester Street office is a 15-minute drive from anywhere in Westborough.
I offer my most popular programs in private and small group sessions. My most popular hypnosis services include stop smoking and weight loss. As more and more information about the insidious damage processed foods are doing to our bodies I’ve also seen growing interest in my sugar addiction program. I have services for phobias, stress, and confidence building – these are all private programs due to the nature of the service and personalization required.
Small groups are maximum of 10 participants to ensure quality and a level of personal attention. Sessions last anywhere from 1-2 hours – I am results oriented and allocate enough time to ensure we get the outcome you’re looking to achieve.

EXPLODING THE MTYHS SURROUNDING HYPNOSIS:
Myth: Hypnosis is not accepted by the medical profession: Both the U.S. and U.K. Medical boards endorse therapeutic hypnosis as a treatment for healing patients. Hypnosis has been used in pain control and relieving stress and anxiety in patients faced with a challenging recovery.
There is nothing mystical about hypnosis as we begin to understand the inner workings of our mind and its importance in healing both physical and emotional conditions.
Myth: I don’t think I can be hypnotized: The truth is everybody drifts in and out of hypnosis each day which is akin to a day dream experience, they just don’t realize it. I’ve also had clients resist hypnosis because they feel only weak-minded people can be hypnotized – the fact is a strong and intelligent but open mind makes for a better hypnosis experience. If however, you’ve been diagnosed with ADD or a condition that impairs your ability to focus then please let me know as some conditions do require a different approach to achieving the hypnosis state.
Myth: When I’m in the hypnosis trance I’m completely under the control and influence of the hypnotist: You are always in control and respond only to suggestions that are congruent to your beliefs, ethics and moral standards. A hypnotherapist cannot make you do anything you don’t want to do. As an extreme example I can’t make you go out and rob a bank if that violates your ethics and morals. Work at Stanford University in 1977 indicates each of us has an internal “Hidden Observer” watching over the hypnosis process to ensure we don’t violate our inner ethics and moral standards.
Myth: I won’t remember anything you say so how can it be successful? This myth arises from the misconception that hypnosis is sleep. It is not. In fact you falling asleep will make the session ineffective. I’ll be testing throughout to ensure you haven’t drifted into sleep. During hypnosis you’ll remain aware of your surroundings and hear and retain everything said. Hypnosis will bypass the “surface clutter” of your conscious mind so we can work together on your subconscious mind to eradicate the damaging beliefs holding you back. Your subconscious mind will retain the suggestions we place there even if your conscious mind can’t recall everything word for word.
The power of your mind can be used to help you break free of limiting and damaging beliefs and all you have to be is ready and committed to make a significant change in your life.
And if you are… pick up the phone and call me on 508.269.0109 today as I can’t wait to hear from you.
