I was reading an article not too long ago and it made me laugh. It was about baby boomers and their children. It asserted that today’s baby boomer children are hairier and more cuddly. Some even yelp a lot louder! Of course I knew what they were referring to – cats and dogs. Today more baby boomers are becoming parents many times over by getting pets. It seems adults love to play the parent role forever or at least adopt a loyal friend. I was looking into the types of pets baby boomers like to have in their lives.

Are you someone who holds onto their money for dear life? Have you created a nest egg of wealth only to let the egg sit in the nest, never doing anything with it? Do you look at life/money as equating to saving, perhaps for that rainy day? Are you saving money for the next generation (your kids, grandkids) to enjoy one day? In my last article on the Aging Baby Boomer topic – Simple Ways for Aging Baby Boomers to Stay Young – I discussed ways to live and incorporate healthier activities and mindsets into becoming a “new you” or “older you with a new, positive outlook” so you can still be or become your best self. And the bottom line: It’s truly never too late to learn any and all new tricks of the trade to help you feel young… or at least young at heart! If you recall, in the last article I asserted that it all starts in and with the mind. You are only as old, or “slightly worn,” as you believe yourself to be. The key to understanding and accepting your current age and your perception of it is to develop a new and current mindset which dictates how old you want to feel – and hopefully that is forever young!
